Nuvata: Building a Content Machine

Over the past year, our boutique studio, Speaks For Trees (SFT), created all of Nuvata's content. Nuvata is a wellness startup in Los Angeles and known for its plant-based formulas. It makes premium THC products.

Our mission is to make a robust "content machine". It would keep Nuvata's audience engaged. It would also lift the brand's aesthetic and lifestyle story.
The Challenge
Nuvata’s products are not just any wellness items. They are crafted to follow California's rigorous safety codes. The vaporizers are for sale at licensed dispensaries. They are in several states, such as; California, Arizona, Illinois, and Missouri.
Their key products are Nuvata's Mind Body series. They are made to deliver THC oil. The oil is rich in terpenes and has natural flavors. This unique product line offers six experiences. Each one is distinct.
They range from Full Mind to Full Body, each with its own flavor that works with different style of activity in daily life.
Some formulas are great for hiking and sports. Others are great for digital nomads. Some is great for going out. They help creatives be more productive.
Our task was to create original content that would capture the essence of these experiences.
Strategy and Execution
From the start, we knew we'd need to keep a lively content strategy for 12 months. It would require tireless focus and creativity. At SFT, we pride ourselves on making original content. It is tailored for each client and Nuvata was no exception.
We created monthly themes to keep the content fresh and relevant. They aligned with Nuvata’s brand values and products. Each theme was designed to highlight different parts of the wellness lifestyle that Nuvata promotes. They cover mindfulness, balance, fun, relaxation and recovery.
Visual Storytelling: High-quality visuals were crucial. They conveyed the sophisticated yet approachable aesthetic of Nuvata. We invested in pro photography and story films. We made original content that resonated with Nuvata’s audience.
We made engaging stories for each of Nuvata’s six vaporizers. We highlighted their special lab-tested flavors. We also educated people on their benefits in daily life.
We leverage original content to strengthen our relationships with dispensaries and promote the select stores that sell Nuvata. Such as: Blum Orange County, Planet13, Eaze, High Seas...etc
Results
The results of our year-long collaboration were great. Nuvata saw a big increase in brand engagement and loyalty. Our content kept their audience's attention. It also enhanced the brand's look. It aligned perfectly with Nuvata's wellness and lifestyle values.
